To place a stop payment through online banking:


  1. Log into your online banking account
  2. Find the tab labeled "Additional Services" at the top of your screen
  3. Find the dropdown choice "Stop Payment" and click on it
  4. Fill in the online form that appears.  When the form is complete, the "Submit" button will become bright blue and you can click on "Submit" to send your Stop Payment request.





To place a stop payment through mobile banking:


  1. Log into your JVB Mobile App
  2. Tap on the icon in the bottom right-hand corner that shows the word "More"
  3. Scroll down if necessary until you see a section that says "Other"
  4. Select the option that says "Stop Payment
  5. Fill in the form that appears.  When the form is complete, the "Submit" button will become bright blue and you can click on "Submit" to send your Stop Payment request.




Please note: If an item is already pending, a stop payment will not prevent it from posting to your account. Please contact your local branch or our Customer Care Center at 855-582-5101 for more information on what to do in this specific situation. 


The fee for a stop payment is $30.
